Lenten Study Group to meet April 2nd and April 9th
Reverends Ann and Bill and the CE Team have planned a Lenten Study for the entire congregation and invite you to embrace yourself in the messages of Lent by reading brief daily devotionals from selected Psalms. The remaining two study discussion group gatherings have been scheduled after Coffee Hour from 11:30 to 12:15, on April 2nd and April 9th. Write down any questions you may have for discussion with others in the study group. We hope you will get a cup of coffee and join us for the study sessions!
Session, Confirmands, Mentors And Parents
There have been several changes in our meeting time so this is the final decision! We will meet at 11:30 a.m. today! Help yourself to refreshments and then come to the Fellowship Hall near the piano. The meeting will begin with the confirmation class Statements of Faith, followed by questions for adult membership and welcome. This year 25% of the funds raised from the Clawson/Troy walk will be distributed locally to Clawson Community Food Bank and Troy People Concerned; the two local agencies chosen for 2017.
-Checks should be made out to CWS / CROP
It is a 501 C-3 Organization and we can provide you with a receipt for your donation
-What is the point of walking? “Hungry people in developing countries typically walk as many as six miles a day to get food, water and fuel, and to take their goods to market. We walk to be in solidarity with their struggle for existence. We walk because we want to end hunger – one step at a time.”
