Life Line Screening
We are pleased to offer a preventive health event. Life Line Screening will host their affordable, non-invasive and painless health screenings on 4/5/2016. Five screenings will be offered that scan for potential health problems related to: blocked arteries which is a leading cause of stroke; abdominal aortic aneurysms which can lead to a ruptured aorta; hardening of the arteries in the legs which is a strong predictor of heart disease; atrial fibrillation or irregular heart beat which is closely tied to stroke risk; and a bone density screening, for men and women, used to assess the risk of osteoporosis. Register for a Wellness Package which includes 4 vascular tests and osteoporosis screening from $149 ($139 with member discount). All five screenings take 60-90 minutes to complete. To register for this event and to receive a $10 discount off any package priced above $129, please call 1-888-653-6441 or visit

Thank You!
Susan Mann and the Welcome Inn guests thank you all for your generous donations of clothing and support this season! Every single item that was donated has gone to a homeless person. A special thanks to Ed Glac for reaching out to the public via our signage in front of the church. We received several bags of clothing from that as well. The Welcome Inn program is now over for this year, but perhaps next year in the fall we can consider another clothing drive or something of that nature, if the congregation is interested.
Again, thank you all from Jason Morgan, the Director of the program, myself, and all of the guests at the Welcome Inn.
