Movie Morning
Join us this Wednesday, March 4th at 10:00 a.m. to see “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood”, based on the true story of a real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist lloyd Vogel. It’s a biography, drama, rated PG and stars Tom Hanks, Matthew Rhys and Chris Cooper. There will also be popcorn and trivia. This is one you don’t want to miss!

GEMS: God’s Elegant Mature Servants
Come and join us for GEMS on Thursday, March 26th at 12:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The speaker will be Rev. Dan Heaton. His presentation will be on the history of Selfridge Air National Guard Base. The menu for lunch will include soups, salads, and desserts. There are two sign-up sheets on the bulletin board in the narthex. Please sign up if you plan to attend, and if you would like to bring a dish to pass. Join us with a friend! For more information, please contact Debbie Leafdale or Joyce Jarnick.

Daylight Saving Time Begins!
Remember to set your clocks ahead by one hour on Saturday night/Sunday morning!

Lenten Daily Devotionals
Every day through the season of Lent, please watch your email for a Lenten Daily Devotional from the Kirk. These devotionals are written by members of First Pres Troy, the Kirk, and mission partners of the Kirk, including Hope Against Trafficking, Micah 6 Community, and Pontiac Community Foundation. These devotionals are truly intergenerational, as the writers are teenagers through octogenarians! If you do not receive these emails, please let the office know.

Pastor Dan on Call
Pastor Jasmine will be on study leave through Wednesday. While she’s away, Pastor Dan will be on call.

Giving During Lent
During Lent, we will be participating in a food drive for Gleaners, so please consider bringing food items as a Lenten discipline. We are still supporting Troy People Concerned, so consider bringing toiletries for that organization, too.

AOK (Acting Out Kids) Murder Mystery at the Kirk
This year’s annual murder mystery production will be on March 27, 28 and 29 at 7:00pm at Kirk in the Hills. As a thank you for allowing us to use the church for our rehearsals, we would like to give everyone from the church free tickets to this production. If anyone would like free tickets, we just need to know the date you would like to attend and the number of tickets so that we can reserve them. You can contact AOK directly at actingoutkids@yahoo.com to reserve tickets. Please see the flyer on the narthex bulletin board.

Beware of Scams!
A number of pastors have had their accounts hacked and, as a result, congregants then receive texts asking for gift cards. To be clear, Pastor Jasmine and Pastor Dan would never email or text asking for gift cards. Please be aware of these types of scams!
