Deacons’ American Red Cross Blood Drive, July 10th
Our next American Red Cross Blood Drive will take place here at the church tomorrow, Monday, July 10th from 1:30pm to 7:30pm. Thanks to Gwen, Karen and the Deacons for making it possible!

Book Group
The book group will be meeting later this summer. On Wednesday, August 23rd, we will be discussing Clara and Mr. Tiffany by Susan Vreeland. New readers are always welcome! We will discuss Gone With the Wind on September 27th if enough people read or reread it over the summer–a great read for the summer months!

Summer English Workshop
Nine countries represented! Eight class periods! Twenty-five different students! Another session of the English Workshop has concluded and we thank everyone who helped to make it successful! We had several teachers who came from outside of our church to lead groups. Thank you to all who participated.

Healing Service
Join us for a Healing Prayer Service on Tuesday, July 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. Everyone is invited. Bring a friend or neighbor.

Flowers
The flowers in the sanctuary this morning are given by Marilyn Johnson, in memory of Bob Johnson’s birthday on July 3rd.

Contribution Statements
Our 2016 – 2017 fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) has come to a close. Contribution statements have been printed and are available for pick up in the narthex.

The Joy of Worship on Sunday , July 2nd, at Northminster
We, your ministers want you to know how much it meant to see so many of you at Northminster last Sunday. It was a holiday weekend and it was beautiful and sunny (a good excuse to “worship” outside), and there you all were!  It was enjoyable to eat outside; food was good and plentiful as always, and we sure do know how to fix delicious desserts. Yummy! Grateful and thankful for each one of you.
