Book Group
The book group will be meeting later this summer. On Wednesday, August 23rd, we will be discussing Clara and Mr. Tiffany by Susan Vreeland. New readers are always welcome! We will discuss Gone With the Wind on September 27th if enough people read or reread it over the summer–a great read for the summer months!

Flowers
The flowers in the sanctuary this morning are given in honor of the birthdays of our daughter-in-law, Carissa, and our granddaughter, Sumeyye, by Leanne & Jim Prescott

Healing Service
Join us for a Healing Prayer Service on Tuesday, July 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. Everyone is invited. Bring a friend or neighbor.

Blood Drive
On behalf of the Deacons, thank you to everyone who contributed to our successful American Red Cross Blood Drive on 7/10/17. We truly made a huge difference in the lives of those in need with our lifesaving work! As you may know from recent news stories, those units of blood were desperately needed given recent blood shortages. Here are the statistics from our blood drive:
· Actual Collection: 41 units (3 were double red donors!)
~ This is 75% of our goal for 55 units.
· We had 46 registered donors with 8 deferrals.
~ 5 donors were first time blood drive donors!
· 123 hospital patients will be helped through our generosity to host this community blood drive!

Thank you again for your time, talents, cookies, meal preparation, set-up, clean-up, meal serving, signage, and so many other efforts to make this such a successful blood drive!
