GEMS: God’s Elegant Mature Servants
Join us for GEMS on January 24th at 11:00 am. After lunch here at the church, we will be going to The Detroit Institute of Arts to watch the film “The 39 Steps” by Alfred Hitchcock (~86 min.) You also have the option to walk around the museum. The menu for lunch will include lasagna, salad and dessert. A bus will pick us up at 12:00 pm at the church. The film will be followed by complimentary coffee and cookies. We will get back on the bus at 3:00 pm to go back to the church. If you plan to attend and if you would like to bring a dish to pass, please see the sign-up sheets on the bulletin board in the narthex. If you and a friend would like to go, I would appreciate it if you could sign up by January 10th. For more information, please contact Debbie Leafdale or Joyce Jarnick.

Thank You from the Deacons Mission Committee
Thank you to all the congregation! You provided all the gift items on the Christmas Bring Him a Gift Board for three Troy families that needed some help this year. We are also grateful to the ladies from the Korean Congregation who were nice enough to contribute money they raised to help cover gift cards for food for these families. The three families seemed very appreciative; surely, you helped make their Christmas brighter.
Wishing all a healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year.
