Movie Morning
Plan to meet at the Emagine Rochester Hills Theater on Wednesday, December 11th to see “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood”. Showtime is 10:30 a.m. (previews start then and the movie shortly after). After the movie, we will have lunch at Olive Garden (very close to the theater).

Don’t forget the ever-popular holiday trivia! Hope that you can join us!

Adult Advent Christian Education
As you may have noticed last week, in the fellowship hall there are big coloring posters! Each week during Advent you have the opportunity to color the classic nativity scene, with some reflection questions to discuss and meditate on for devotion. It’s not possible to be bad at coloring, so please take a few minutes to be part of this church-wide project, and look for it to be displayed in some fashion when it is complete!

Christmas Pageant
Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 15th at 5:00 pm when our church, in collaboration with Acting Out Kids (AOK), will present “The Legend of the Poinsettia” under the direction of Mary Ann Fischer! After the pageant we will have a potluck. See the bulletin board in the narthex for a sign-up sheet.

Mission News
Bring Him a Gift: We will be assisting three Troy families for Christmas: a family of six (mother, father, grandmother, 14-year-old boy, 5-year-old girl, & 4-year-old boy); a family of four (mother, father, 15-year-old girl, and a 21-year-old boy); and a family of two (husband and wife). Troy People Concerned provided us with a list of items the families requested. If you would like to assist these families for Christmas, please take a tag or two from the Bring Him a Gift Board in the Narthex, and wrap and return the gift by Sunday, December 15. It is important to attach the gift tag from the board to your wrapped gift so we know who the gift goes to. Please also indicate the dollar value of the gift on the tag as we will need the value for reporting to Presbytery. If you would like to contribute money, the Deacons can do the shopping for you (see Louise Glazier or Joyce Peterson). Feel free to team up to buy some of the more expensive items; there are some winter coats and shoes requested.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Please join Pastor Jasmine for our annual Christmas Eve service on Tuesday, December 24th at 5:00 p.m.
