Join us at the Troy Police Dept., Emergency Operations Center, 500 W. Big Beaver at 7:00 pm. for the next Troy Interfaith Group meeting on Monday, Jan. 15th. TIG, along with the Troy Police Dept., KYND/Know Your Neighbor Daily, and the Troy Area Alliance Against Hate Crimes are co-sponsoring a showing of the video “Not In Our Town: Waking in Oak Creek” followed by time for discussion. The documentary is about the 2012 deadly hate attack on the Sikh community in Wisconsin and how the suburban community worked to connect, heal and find peace.

Christmas Mission Project– Bring Him A Gift
Please wrap the gift you selected to buy and attach the tag you pulled from the Bring Him a Gift board to the gift and write on it the original retail price of the gift. This way we can keep track of what each gift contains, which family and person it goes to, as well as report to Presbytery the value of the goods donated. All gifts need to be returned by no later than Sunday morning December 17. We will deliver the gifts to the families on the 17th. You can know you are helping make Christmas a little merrier and brighter for three families in Troy needing some help this year.
Thank you from the Deacons.

You Remind Us Of The Best In Life!
As your pastors, we know that we are richly blessed with love and caring that seems to have no end. This week has been more difficult than some but with your help, your prayers, health issues seem to be mending; AND our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for all you do and all you mean to us. This is more than a note of thanks – it is a belief that you model the message of our Savior. You do this in so many ways! This time of year brings such a mixture of emotions and all of us pray for those with special needs; with sadness and feelings of grief; for those who suffer without even the basic needs to live. Along with our thanks; this brings our prayers for Christmas to be with us every day and that Hope, Peace, Joy and Love abide in all corners of our world. May we do and be disciples for the Christ Child who was born that we might be given life eternal. God’s Blessings. Ann and Bill

Adult Discussion For Advent – 11:15 On Sunday
Pick up a snack and coffee and then join us for sharing time. We will have our final meeting today! Please bring your devotional booklets and share your questions and/or a reading that was especially meaningful.

Sharing Holiday Greeting Cards
If you would like to share a Holiday greeting card with our church family, please post it on the Fellowship Hall Bulletin Board next to the kitchen. Everyone will be able to read the greetings better there on the Board and it will leave more room on the Narthex Mitten Tree for your generously donated winter gloves and hats.

Christmas Eve Sunday
We will have just one service on Christmas Eve Sunday, December 24th at 5:00 p.m. (There will be no morning service.) The Worship Committee felt one service was best so that we may celebrate the coming of the Christ child with friends and family.

Mark Your Calendar with these Upcoming Events:
-December 24th, Christmas Eve, one service at 5:00 p.m.
