Deacons Blood Drive with the American Red Cross on July 25th: Thank you all!
The results are in!
Actual Collection: 26 units; Results: 93% of goal
–27 were registered donors
–2 were first time donors
The blood that we helped collect will save 78 lives! We really made a huge difference in the lives of those in need. Thank you all for being HEROES to our community!

Bible Study Break this Week
The Bible Study at Barnes and Noble is taking a break this week. Mark your calendars for August 15 when we will again resume at 2:00!

This morning, we welcome Tyler Brinks and Rev. Angela Ryo to our pulpit!
-Tyler, who also joined us in June, is currently an intern at the Kirk. He grew up in Commerce Township, graduated in 2017 from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and is a rising senior at Princeton Theological Seminary.
-Rev. Angela is the Pastor for Christian Formation at the Kirk, where she began in 2017. As a pastor with her Masters in Divinity, she also has her Masters in Teaching and is a former high school teacher. Prior to joining the Kirk, she was the Lilly Resident Minister at First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor. She and her husband, David, have two children.
We welcome you both this morning!

Book Group
The book group will meet again on Wednesday, August 28th. We will be discussing Educated by Tara Westover. The meeting is at 7:00 and all are welcome!

Troy-Area Interfaith Group (TIG) Upcoming Events:
~The Annual TIG Potluck Picnic will be at Boulan Park this Monday, Aug. 5, at 6:30 pm. Bring a dish to share, your own beverage to drink, and a chair if desired. Paper products will be provided!
~The combined TIG-KYND (Know Your Neighbor Daily) commemoration of the International Day of Peace: This special day, set aside by the United Nations to recognize peace, will be Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Balkan American Community Center (1451 E. Big Beaver Rd.) at 7:00 pm. Mark your calendars, and we hope you can join us!
