Thank You for your Generous TPC Pantry Donations This Summer
Thank you for your generous, recent donations for the Troy People Concerned Pantry. As always, new men’s white socks, fruit cups, and shampoo are appreciated. In addition, well-stocked Pantry shelves have items that together make a meal, like pasta & spaghetti sauce, peanut butter & jelly, and tuna & mayonnaise. Small bundles of toilet paper and personal hygiene or house cleaning items are always welcome too, even the dollar store sizes.

School Backpack Project For 2019
Our church is again planning to provide school backpacks and supplies for 3rd graders in Troy needing assistance. If you would like to participate, please take one or more tags from the board which will either be in the Narthex or Fellowship Hall. Keep the tags, attach them to the items and write the value of the items purchased on the tags. All items should be returned by next Sunday, July 28. If you wish to donate money for the purchase of supplies, please contact either Joyce Peterson or Louise Glazier.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. ~The Deacons’ Mission Committee

Troy Women’s Association Fundraiser:
Help Raise Money to Benefit Our Community!
As you may know, Marilyn Johnson and I are members of the Troy Women’s Association (TWA). TWA has been active in Troy since 1969 and is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit volunteer organization that raises money to support programs within the Troy community.
Our primary focus is to impact lives in a positive way and to aid families, senior citizens, and children in Troy who are in need. Yearly, we raise money to run and support over 30 outreach projects. (In 2019, TWA helped members of our church through one of their projects!)
Here’s how you can help TWA raise funds and enjoy a wonderful meal at a value price!
Go to Sedona Taphouse Troy on July 22nd or July 29th for lunch or dinner and purchase an entree plus a beverage from the “Steak Out for Charity” menu. Entrees include a flat iron steak ($7) and grilled salmon ($10). For each charity menu purchase, $1 will be donated to TWA.
If you have any questions, please contact Gwen Thompson—TWA Fundraiser Committee Chair. Thanks in advance for your support!!!
